Through the Roof Disability ministry equips the church to reach out, serve, and include people affected by disability, helping them to integrate into the life of the church.
It is our desire to include children, teens, and adults with disabilities in Bible fellowship and activities with their peers whenever possible. One-on-one “Buddies” will be arranged whenever possible.
9:00 am, Room 240 S.W.A.T. (Green Campus), and 10:30am, Room 115 (Akron Campus)
10:30 am, Room 117 (Akron Campus), and the Assisted Learning Room (Green Campus)
10:30am, first Sunday each month in the Assisted Learning Room and the Deacons' Room in the Balcony Hallway all other Sundays (Akron Campus), and the Assisted Learning Room (Green Campus).
First and third Fridays each month, 1:00–3:00pm, Great Commission Room (Akron Campus). Genuine support, practical help, and new friendships for those who have physical disabilities.
Outreach and social events for those affected by physical disabilities. Events are combined with other churches and groups in the community. Meets once per month. Contact Margaret Matasic for upcoming events.
Wednesdays, September–May (except December), Room 153, 6:30–8:30pm, (Akron Campus). For children age 11 and under who are affected by disability. Please call ahead: 330.315.5523.
Interpreting for the deaf is provided during the 9:00am worship service weekly at the Akron Campus and during the 10:40am worship service at the Green Campus when requested in advance. Holiday schedules may vary. Special arrangements for an interpreter for a class may be made when available by contacting Margaret Matasic.
Retreat offers a change of pace where people affected by disability can relax and have fun in a safe environment. Our adult program offers times of worship and Bible study, all with a focus on the needs of the disability community.

Join us at the Akron or Canton warehouse to work on wheelchairs and mobility equipment, or volunteer by picking up donated equipment for those in need in our community and around the world.

Special Delivery Visitation Ministry is a unique way to reach a person or family with the message of love and hope. Volunteers have the opportunity to serve through delivering packages and inspirational gifts to bring hope, encouragement, and the promise of a genuine relationship with God.
