Chapel Kids volunteers have one thing in common—a commitment to children, to their spiritual development and to guiding them into a relationship with Jesus that will last the rest of their lives.
Volunteering in Chapel Kids does not necessarily mean you will get on the floor and play, but it can! We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities that allow you to make a significant contribution to our kids.
Did you know most Chapel Kids volunteers start with little or no experience? There are plenty of ways you can get plugged in.
You may choose to serve before, during or after a service. We even have serving opportunities during the week!
This section will help to introduce you to the many opportunities available within our ministry. We want to help you find where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of children. Your first step to getting involved is to fill out this application.
If your elementary age child (1st-5th grade) has questions or wants to know more about becoming a Christian and being baptized, then please contact our Chapel Kids Ministry office for a packet of information. Contact Janice Kelley.
We offer Sunday classes for those children with special needs. It gives parents the opportunity to attend worship while their child is in a safe and secure environment. We strive to minister to each child at their level. Teaching is done on an age and ability appropriate level. See the Disability Ministries page.
Need a few hours a week just for yourselves? Offered at the Akron Campus only, Little Kids Workshop is a once-a-week program for the little ones in your family. It is staffed by our Chapel Kids Ministry team and offers lots of love, Bible stories, music, crafts and more.
Little Kids Workshop is open to all Chapel families, their friends and neighbors.
Space is limited. Children are accepted in the order that fees are received.
