Fall Giving Project—Treadle Sewing Machines

Treadle sewing machines will equip women in the "2/3 world" with sewing skills, help resource self-help groups, and provide vocational training. Our goal: 300 machines. Pick up a "sewing machine" envelope at any welcome center or indicate "Sewing Machine Project" on your check. Contact Sarah.

Parenting and Discipline

First, third, and fifth Wednesdays, January–April, 2009, 9:30–11:30am. New Location! Dining Room (Akron Campus)

Do you wonder why your own children don’t listen to you? Do your children behave better for others?  Do you know what makes your child tick? Join Susie Sartarelli and other mothers who are experiencing the same challenges for a hands-on class on parenting and discipline. For any mom of toddlers through adolescents. Cost is $10. Finding the Hero in Your Husband

This practical book study by Julianna Slattery seeks to help women better understand God’s design for intimacy within marriage and the influence that He has given wives “to either bring out the hero in their husband or bury it deeper within.”
